Finishing Touches

I posted a couple of months ago about fixing up the stairway. The only thing missing from our little makeover was some pretty paint on the walls, which we managed to fix in short order.


We used the same color as the front door, Valspar's Woodlawn Silver Brook. I love the moody blue gray color and the best part is that it really complements the pictures of castles that we have going up the stairway. I collected pictures of different castles in Spain that either Lover or I have visited, printed them out, and popped them into affordable frames. They look great lining the stairs, and I love that they bring a little bit of Spanish history into our very own castle.
